About Belle's Art

Belle's Art is a shop featuring prints of my original watercolor paintings. 

 

Drawing and painting has always been a hobby of mine. However, one that regretfully didn't make my priority list in busy times. Shortly after I found out that I was pregnant of my first daughter, I started painting animals to decorate her future nursery.

 

Soon after my daughter was born I moved to Geneva, Switzerland. Having quit my job in the Netherlands, I found more time to paint again. I created several new animal paintings for nieces and nephews. And for another nursery at home, as I was expecting a second little one. Meanwhile I regularly got asked by friends if I was willing to create something for them.  

 

As the demand for my animal paintings grew, so did my thoughts on how to be able to share my work with more people. And that is how the idea of Belle's Art began.
